An Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter they were onboard veered off course due to strong winds, leading to the unfortunate crash. The helicopter ultimately landed upside-down in a creek, causing it to be partially submerged in water. Bezos, Bella and Holland managed to escape the wreckage with only minor injuries.
